Right on dude. I came to the same conclusion about a year ago. I have a few beers I want to continue to buy year after year, but having a massive collection has seriously lost its luster. And I’m broke. that puts a damper on the collecting thing.

If only I could come to this party lol, would love to see that collection and taste a few beers. Bet you have some interesting things, especially after 5 years of collecting.

Thanks Eric. It turned out to be a bit more beer then we could handle, so while days of collecting are done, my cellar days are going to continue for a bit longer as i plow through a shit ton of imperial barrel aged beers 🙂 #Life’sTough

I can relate…in fact my cellar no longer exists. To be honest, though, as i type this and look at my “cellar” which is devoid of any brews besides a handful, I miss the days of being able to run to the beer cellar when nothing was on hand.

I too like to see beer changing little by little. It’s a lot of fun every month or so to pull off and ounce of the home brewed flanders red or brown barrel aging…can’t do that with a cellar unless you buy a ton of bottles.

Thats true Nate. I still have a couple bottles left, but I’m drinking through those too. Always have homebrew! 🙂
