Ommegang 3 Philosophers is a Belgian Style Quaddrupell. Poured into a goblet, there was no doubt this was a strong beer, very sweet aroma, high alcohol which was nicely offset by the cherry flavor. This Liambic has a very long finish, the sweetness of the cherry lingers. This beer is defiantly one to pair with food or a good cigar
and drink in moderation. If you know the style of beer this is truly an amazing beer.
