Elysian Dragonstooth Stout

The Dragonstooth Stout from the Elysian Brewing Company lived up to my expectations, with a name like Dragonstooth and a pretty cool label; you have to walk the walk. The stout had a nice malty nutty aroma and poured a very dark brown to black. The head was typical brown for a stout, but did need a hard pour in order to get a good and thick also lots of lacing as i drank it

The Dragonstooth had a sweet malty flavor with a nice bitter chocolate finish. The one thing I did notice it is a very strong stout (7.45% ABV) a bit above a normal stout, But nonetheless a very good beer.

Tasting method: Tulip glass from 22oz Bottle
