Still Here….

Not to worry I’m still here.  I’ve taken the last week to brew and focus on a couple upcoming events.  One of which is in the NYC area on Saturday and Sunday, I’ll be pouring two casks of my homebrew at Get Real NY.  I’m really stoked for Get Real NY, it’s the biggest cask ale fest around NY and I’ll be serving  my Sorachi Patersbier and my Smoked Pilsner.  Since it is cask ale, there is no CO2, everything is naturally carbonated and hand pumped or gravity poured.  I’ll be hand pumping my two brews, so I’ve been playing around with a couple of stands for my two hand pumps.  Each version hasl met with me messing up the stand some how.  Back to the tried and true, a wooden box!

Over the last 3 days I have brewed 3 beers. A big Brown Ale, a Berliner Weisse, and a Roggenbier.  I have a Pilsner yeast starter going to, so I’m thinking of making a classic Pilsner on Friday.
