Andy’s Corner Bar – Bogota NJ

If you are a beer drinker this is a bar for you, Andy’s Corner Pub.  I’ve been to this bar a number of times and every time I’m impressed.   This is my kind of bar no MACRO-beers in sight.  No Bud, Miller, or what have you.  It is Small only 4/5 tables, 20 or so bar stools, but has a regular crowd of beer connoisseurs.

George, the man behind the bar is extremely knowledgeable about the beer in his bar.   When I was there the other night they had 10 nice craft beers on tap:

• Lagunitas Brown Shugga’
• Slyfox Pikeland Pilsner
• Anderson Valley Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout
• Fuller ESB
• Captain Lawrence Pale Ale
• Smuttynose Old Brown Dog
• Founders Porter
• Weyerbacher Fireside Ale
• 2 others I can’t recall

Plus 2 Casks, not to mention 2 glass coolers full of unique and interesting craft beers.  If you are hankering for a certain style flavor of beer, you’re bound to find it here.  if your not sure about a beer ask for a sample and you’ll get a mini-mug of beer(it’s a 2 oz mug) .  I had a Fuller ESB, because I’ve never seen it on tap only in bottles and a Captain Lawrence Pale Ale.

I really wish this place were closer to my house…
