Simply Beer Club – Winter Beer Tasting, Jan 9th

The Simply Beer Tastings have become a huge success. We tasted through a dozen+ Holiday beers and had a blast discussing the beer in a fun and very educational forum in our December tasting.

The next edition of the Simply Beer Club will be held on Saturday Jan 9th, 5:30 pm at Amanti Vino’s upstairs classroom in Montclair NJ.

Peter Kennedy of Simply Beer will host the class with Travis Glohs from Amanti Vino and special guest Greg Zaccardi, Owner of High Point Brewing (Ramstein) . The subject of this class is a continuation of  “Winter Beers” that we have touched on in the last two tastings.   We will taste through an eclectic line up of winter beers from a host of brewers including:

• Ramstein Winter Wheat Doppelbock
• Schneider Aventinus Weizen Eisbock
• Brewdog / Stone Bashah
• Schlafly 2008 Barleywine
• Dogfish Head World Wide Stout
• Mikkeller To Via From
• Ommegang Adoration
• Dogfish Head Life & Limb
  
• Plus a couple Surprises
  

In addition, don’t be surprised if we bring a surprise or two from our beer cellars. In our first 2 sessions we have uncapped 2 vertical tastings along with some very unique beers.  Who knows what we’ll dredge up this time.
